| 1. How many photos can I upload for each advert? |
You may upload up to 10 color photos for each adverts.
The maximum number of images for Land is 3 photos for each advert |
| 2. What file formats can I upload? |
You can upload the following file formats:
JPEG
JPG
PNG
GIF |
| 3. What is the maximum file size for uploading images? |
The maximum image size for upload is 1MB per image. There is no limit in image width & height, but we strongly advise that you reduce your image size locally before uploading. Smaller images upload much quicker and keep the system fast.
F1trader will automatically re-scale all images to 480 x 360 pixels.
Tip: Set your camera to a smaller image size before taking your pictures.

| 4. How big are the displayed images on F1trader? |
F1trader will automatically re-scale all images to 480 x 360 pixels. |
| 5. How do I upload an image? |
You can only use this tool when you are a registered user.
- Login with your email address and password
- Select submit advert from the top navigation bar
- Provide all information necessary and follow all the steps
Continue till you reach the step for uploading images
- Click on the button browse
- Select your image on your computer, digital camera or other media.
You can select 5 images. If you wish to add more images than select the button add 5 more images.
After you have selected your images you click on the button next. Your photos will be uploaded. |
| 7. How do I delete an image? |
You can only use this tool when you are a registered user and have submitted an advert.
- Login with your email address and password
- Select My Account from the top navigation bar
- Select My adverts
Here you will see all your online adverts. You can edit your advert by clicking on the hammer icon.
- Go to images by using the next button. (step 5)
- Click on the link delete in order to remove an image.

| 7. I have a problem uploading my images. Why? |
- Check the file type. You can only upload jpg, jpeg, gif and PNG files.
- Your image may be bigger than 1MB. Reduce your image size before uploading.
- Check your image file name. Some images use strange characters like @#$%^& for the file name. Change the image file name.
- Make sure that there are no empty spaces in the image file name.

| 8. Do you have tips for taking pictures? |
When you take a picture, pay some attention how to take good photos.
A good photo can help to sell your products much easier.
- Pay attention to the light direction. Don't take your photos towards direct sunlight.
- Use a flashlight in case of low light.
- Keep your product centered when taking a photograph.
- Clean the product or the area before taking the photograph.
- Take notice of the surrounding.
- We do not recommend taking photos including persons. |
